We Held Our First Forum!

unnamedWe held our first forum this week!! It was a wonderful opportunity to speak with constituents and discuss how we can move Washington forward. There are many things my opponent and I disagree on, but none more surprising than her opposition to a levy swap. By shifting our levies to the state level, we would lower our property tax burden here in the 30th district while bringing in more dollars to our schools so that we can adequately pay teachers. This is completely unacceptable. Your zip code shouldn’t dictate the quality of your education, and our schools should receive equal funding as those in Bellevue and Seattle. I am running to be your state representative, and will always fight for you—not Seattle special interests—in Olympia.

Next week, we will host the Federal Way Mirror forum next Wednesday, October 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club. I hope you will attend.
